Neal opens the door with curiosity on his face that turns into an open smile as soon as he sees his guest.
"Lestat. Come in, please--"
He stands back and gestures the vampire inside, oblivious to his deep blue neon sign. Accused of stealing about twice as much as he's actually stolen and never corrected anyone who made assumptions.
His eyes flick to the sign, but he says nothing, not wanting to somehow jinx his luck and have one of his own show up. Instead, he gives a nod and steps into the cabin, turning on his heel to face Neal.
"I wanted to say thank you for your help with the party."
"You're welcome. You're very welcome. I'm glad I could."
His immediate delight at Lestat coming over independently is tempered a little by the formality in the way the vampire moves and speaks. Neal shuts the door gently, gesturing to the table, the couch, the space at large. "Please make yourself comfortable. Can--"
Can I get you anything, he almost says, but corrects himself with barely a pause. "Can I get you any blood? I have some I keep in the fridge these days. Unmolested, I promise."
It's a small joke at his own expense, but he hasn't given up on that project yet.
