Neal raises his eyebrows, surprised but also not. Roman is graduated. Willa is... well, from what Neal can tell, she's settling into her own, and she doesn't seem ready to leave even though he's pretty sure she came here to start because of Raylan. Raylan doesn't do well with idleness.

Idleness would kill him faster than drink or his job, and he knows it. He's tried his best, picked up things to keep himself busy, but it wasn't the same. He needed a clear goal, he needed something purposeful to do with his time, and he wasn't eager to get back into the temp pool, even though he was.
Collins was his own handful and Raylan had good enough sense to not bring work home, as it were.
Lacing their fingers together, Raylan squeezes them softly with a faint pull of his smile and opts to not answer Neal's first question so directly as he brushes a thumb up and down Neal's.
