Neal doesn't dismiss the idea outright. He doesn't like it, those kinds of restraints, enough that he's made it a lifetime's hobby to escape them. He rubs one wrist, frowning at his lap.

"Do you think it'll help? I've been... Lately, the things I've been seeing--dreaming about, I mean. It just keeps getting worse."

Malcolm offers him a tight smile.
