"Hey," Shaw says as she pulls open the door. Jet is wiggling in excitement next to her, getting ready to spring. "Jet, zit," she commands, and he pauses to look up at her - and then, after a brief moment of hesitation, he withdraws and comes to sit nicely by her side.
